The Austrian group TSK recently awarded MECASOLAR a contract to supply 13 MW of solar energy. For this contract, 1.300 MECASOLAR trackers will be supplied. The contract amount exceeds 15 Million. Start-up is set for the beginning of 2008. The reasons that TSK Group trusts in MECASOLAR as the provider for its solar trackers are easy and fast installation; supply capacity, which allow it to guarantee delivery; and the fact that the group's installations can be connected before September 28, 2008. Considering the project contracts that the company has signed to date with IBERINCO, TSK, AMS and OPDE, among others, MECASOLAR has doubtlessly become the predominant dual-axis manufacturer in the Spanish market for 2008. To date, the company has received more than 8,000 tracker orders for 2008, amongst its various production plants in Navarra and Extremadura.

Last September 14, the Iberinco companies, which pertain to the Iberdrola and Proinso group, the exclusive MECASOLAR tracker distributor for the Spanish market, signed a three-way agreement to supply 3,000 trackers by the end of 2008, which entails supplying 30MV of solar power. The Iberinco technical teams have subjected trackers to more than 9 months of standardised testing during the tracker selection process. The first solar farm in Pepino-Toledo was constructed with 50 trackers, which definitely allowed Iberinco to commit to using MECASOLAR technology. In September, the first delivery of 1,000 trackers will be shipped to the Talayuela-Cáceres 10MW plant. The solar energy installations supplied for Iberinco in this project will start up operation in the first quarter of 2008. The other trackers will be delivered for the different projects to which the company is committed under EPC contracts, such as the Alliwin solar power plant project. This strategic agreement and the excellent MECASOLAR manufacturing and PROINSO technical consulting, as well as the good product results, will help establish the bases for launching projects in other countries.

Mecasolar, specialist in manufacturing, assembling and installing dual-axis solar trackers and a member of OPDE Group, has begun to expand into China and is making a strong entrance into the Asian photovoltaic solar energy market with the help of the local ET Solar Group.
Its first effort was installing one of its dual-axis solar trackers in the Beijing Olympic Stadium, which will pave the way for installing more than a hundred Mecasolar-manufactured trackers in China in the upcoming months. They will account for a total of 1,000 kW of solar power and will be installed in both landmark and remote locations to supply energy to more isolated towns.
Furthermore, Mecasolar is studying the possibility of opening its own manufacturing plant in China, from which it will supply its dual-axis solar trackers to the Asian market and manufacture different subassemblies for the European market.
Trackers installed in the Beijing Olympic Stadium use Sunny Boy 3300 inverters produced by German manufacturer and European leader SMA, for which PROINSO is one of the primary, official distributors in Spain. PROINSO will receive support from SMA's large and strong international team, and more specifically, by its Chinese branch.

The Mendavia and Murchante solar energy plant expansions, for which MECASOLAR 8.4 kWp trackers were installed, will again be expanded to use the new 11 kWp trackers. This is in addition to installing trackers in the new Viana solar energy plant. The order recently made by the developer will entail manufacturing and delivering more than 300 trackers, which will require 3.3 MWp of solar energy production.

Our constant flexibility in manufacturing capacity allows us to offer you certain custom services, completely adapting to your requirements throughout the entire project execution and committing to delivery deadlines. Orders placed for 2007 account for approximately 60% of the Spanish market for installations with dual-axis solar tracking systems, which achieves the goal of supplying 8,000 trackers for 2007. For 2008, MECASOLAR has committed to orders for the most prominent dual-axis tracker projects in the Spanish market.

The Murchante photovoltaic solar power plant will use 150 Mecasolar trackers in its first phase and 110 more trackers in its second phase. The great multi-power and multiple manufactuer FLEXIBILITY of our trackers has allowed us to install 9.52 kWp per tracker for this project. The tracker model chosen for this project is the MS TRACKER 10+. The 10-year GUARANTEE on parts and workmanship has been a key factor in the decision-making process for clients and financial entities that have financed client investments. It should be emphasised that this order, placed in 2006, marked the 428th tracker ordered and to be supplied in the first semester in the Spanish market, an undisputable reality. A total of 3,936 MWp of solar power has been supplied by our solar trackers. Considering that CNE and IDAE have predicted that around 26 MWp connected to the grid will be installed in Spain this year, we can confirm that Mecasolar's market share for the year would be 15%. It would account for more than 25% of the solar tracker installations. THE MARKET BACKS OUR TRACKERS as one of the most innovative products with the best quality-price ratio in Europe.
