ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM

The very size of the structure (over 4 meters high) gives the equipment an added passive security in addition to the fact that the panels are secured with headless screws. THREE-PHASE CONNECTION OUTPUT

Each of the three series is connected to each of the 3 inverters. Mecasolar tracker advantages due to their THREE PHASE hook-up include the following: reduction in losses due to wiring and more balanced output power. Upon any damage in any of the 3 phases, 2/3 of the installation is still productive.


 

ADAPTABLE TO CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS

The Mecasolar trackers are connected to a meteorology station, which, with the help of the PLC controller, orients the grid and panels in the proper position depending on the weather conditions. The PLC programming permits the tracker to operate in snow, electrical storms, fog, darkness and windy conditions.


 

INDEPENDENT PLC

Each Mecasolar solar tracker comes equipped with an independent PLC controller, which works to monitor solar movements, to handle the prevailing weather conditions and to perform remote operations. The PLC sends movement instructions to the motors as necessary, so it is not constantly operating, which results in an extended useful life of the same. Likewise, based on the outside weather conditions (strong wind, fog or diffuse light, rain, storms and night time conditions) the PLC is programmed so that the tracker will be positioned adequately at all times. The PLC is a standard product on the market, which makes it easy to replace and easy to re-programme its parameters.


 

ROBUST, EASY-TO-INSTALL, REDUCED MAINTENANCE

The Mecasolar tracker motors have reduced annual consumption (100 kWh/year), resulting in reduced maintenance. Likewise, the robustness of their design and fabrication guarantees the investment over the long term.
